Centauri AAC Meets in New Orleans to Address Mutual Goals, Enhancements

Members of the Centauri Agent Advisory Council (AAC) were joined March 1–2, 2016 in New Orleans, Louisiana by the company’s Underwriting Manager, John Eric Buffamoyer and Amy Conley, Director of Customer Service. As part of the AAC’s ongoing initiatives to enhance the agent and customer experience, the council identified ways to streamline the quote process, increase the number of online endorsements available to agencies and made recommendations for several new product enhancements.

On April 22, 2016, the fruits of the AAC’s labor became apparent as the long-awaited option for agencies to print the Centauri application prior to binding was made available. Also on this day, complementing the current policy download capabilities, commission download became available for all agencies who utilize this feature within their agency management system.

The council continues the hard work they started in 2013 and this team is dedicated and focused on helping every agent and their support staff maximize the opportunities with Centauri Insurance.

Do not hesitate to reach out to any member of our Agency Advisory Council with recommendations you have. For a complete list of the members and their contact information, visit  www.centauriinsurance.com/for-agents/Agent-Advisory-Council.

The next Agent Advisory Council meeting is scheduled for September 7– 8, 2016 in Mobile, Alabama.

“Collaboration with the Centauri team has resulted in a building design that reflects their vision, unique business dynamics and plans for their future growth,” said Steve Padgett, executive vice president of Fawley Bryant.

The building boasts sleek contemporary features and decor in a technology-inspired environment that is ideal for collaboration. It also features outdoor plazas on all three levels to take advantage of the stunning lakefront views and numerous employee amenities including a gym, showers, an expansive breakroom, and adjustable standing desks for all employees.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house gave our guests the opportunity to see the finished product first-hand. Guests were greeted by our agent partner and race car driver, Kevin Koelemeyer of Florida's Regency Insurance. He and his team brought the Centauri-sponsored race car which was on display for photo opportunities. To Centauri's surprise, Koelemeyer revealed the newest addition to the Centauri-sponsored race cars which will be featured at Sebring International Raceway in late November.

Once all of our guests arrived, the ribbon-cutting ceremonies began with speeches from Brooke Adler, Esq., Centauri's Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary; Ricardo Espino, President and CEO of Centauri; Fred Karlinsky, Esq., shareholder and co-chair of Greenberg Traurig's Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice Group; and concluded with a special video message from Florida's Governor Rick Scott.

After the ceremony, guests moved upstairs to tour our new building during the open house and reception. We couldn't have planned a better ending for this event, as a spectacular Florida sunset cast vivid colors over the lake behind our new headquarters.
