Nancy joined Centauri as our Director of Underwriting over two years ago and is responsible for all underwriting functions at the company, including underwriting guidelines and setting of policies and procedures. In the past year, she has been able to use her 20+ years of industry experience to assist in the development of our new "STARS" policy administration and underwriting system, with her emphasis being on underwriting process and workflow. About "STARS," she said “I cannot wait for the system to be fully up and running, I think our agents are really going to like what we’ve been able to build for them.”

​​Nancy was born just south of Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Sandwich, MA, the oldest town on Cape Cod. She graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and has been working in personal lines insurance since graduating from college in 1998. Nancy has moved eight times throughout her career, calling many places home including Georgia, California, Texas (two times), South Carolina and Florida (three times).  She spent several years at Kemper Insurance and Amica Mutual Insurance Company before landing at Centauri.      

When she's not in the office, you can find her spending time with her husband Steven, 4-year-old son Jackson, and their three Dachshunds named Porkchop, Biscuit and Cookie. “With a toddler and three dogs, I don’t really have much time to myself, but when I can steal a moment or two, you will find me by the pool, likely with my face buried in a book. It’s a blast when they’re all out there with me too” she said.
