SSARASOTA, Florida – September 15, 2016 - Centauri Insurance, a property and casualty insurance provider operating across nine states, was recently ranked #102 among the Business Observer’s 2016 Gulf Coast Top 500 companies reflecting a 58 percent growth from the previous year’s listings. Centauri also earned the #35 spot on their list of the Top 50 Fastest Growing companies.

The Business Observer annually ranks the top 500 companies from Tampa to Naples by their gross revenues. This year's ranking is based on 2015 gross revenues which topped $118.3 million compared with gross revenues of $74.5 million in 2014 which earned Centauri the #123 spot on last year's list and gross revenues of $52.3 million in 2013 which earned Centauri the #140 spot on the 2014 list.

Centauri has achieved this recognition for the past three years due to their financial strength, solid performance and continued growth in the insurance industry.

In order to provide ample space to accommodate future growth, Centauri plans to break ground this October on a new 30,000-square-foot facility to house its corporate headquarters.
