On February 21th, Centauri Specialty Insurance co-sponsored the annual “Make a Difference 5K’ run in Jackson, MS, with SouthGroup Insurance of Mississippi. Participating From Centauri in running the event were Regional Sales and Product Managers Mike Ely and John Meyer.

Proceeds from the 5K run benefited the Friends of Children's Hospital for the Blair E. Batson’s Children's Hospital at University Medical Center in Jackson. The Batson Children’s Hospital is Mississippi’s only hospital specially equipped for the care and treatment of sick and injured children. The Child Life Program focuses on the psychosocial well-being of young patients using a wide range of activities to teach patients to cope and learn about their condition, procedures they will receive and to normalize their hospital experience.
