Centauri is more than just a place to work. As COVID-19 restrictions began to subside this year, we slowly returned to the office and regained a sense of normalcy. We were finally able to continue with community service opportunities and teambuilding events bringing Team Centauri closer together.

Volunteering and community service have always had a special place at Centauri. We allot each employee eight paid hours to participate in a volunteer opportunity of their choice every year. A new addition to our community service portfolio is a 2-mile stretch of road we adopted near our office. We have committed to cleaning up this area on a quarterly basis.

With the holiday season, the need for volunteerism is always greater. In December, we joined forces with Mayor's Feed the Hungry for their annual food drive and raised $4,400 to help support their effort to feed those in need throughout our community. Our employees also volunteered for Wreaths Across America by laying wreaths on graves at Sarasota National Cemetery to honor our fallen heroes and donated blood with OneBlood.

In addition to volunteering, our employees have connected through various teambuilding events throughout the year. Last summer, we celebrated our 10-year anniversary during our annual company picnic on Anna Maria Island with lots of food, drinks, games and laughs. Baseball games, T-shirt contests, Halloween parties and a plethora of activities bring Team Centauri closer together making it more than just a place to work.
