CENTAURI RACE SERIES

Race Series.JPG
Centauri values a healthy and fit workplace.  As part of our corporate wellness program, Centauri has introduced the 2018-2019 race series and pays registration fees for employees who wish to participate in select local races highlighted below.  Each employee may choose up to 5 races to participate in out of the 9 offered.
So far this year, employees have participated in the Sarasota Game Day race, the 15th Annual Boo Run in Lakewood Ranch, the 2018 Tidewell Hospice Turkey Trot 5k and The Haven Jingle & Jog 5k!

Giving Back to Our Community

Centauri understands the importance of giving back to our community. Team members are allotted 16 paid hours per year to volunteer at a charity of their choice during work hours in addition to various group volunteer opportunities that are scheduled throughout the year.
This past November, employees worked in shifts at Sarasota's annual Mayor's Feed the Hungry event at Ed Smith Stadium. Since it's beginning, this program has collected and distributed more than 200 tons of food and more than $2,000,000 food gift cards to the hungry in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Since the inception of our volunteer program, TEAM Centauri members have given their time at numerous local charities. "Its truly amazing to see our team come together every year to support our community through the Mayor's Feed the Hungry event" said Alexis Cunningham, Centauri Volunteer Committee Member.
This program has been a very rewarding experience for our employees. Those who participate each year are eager to do it again and they are encouraged to do so.

Work Hard, Play Hard.  Centauri Corporate Events

Creativity was at an all-time high at Centauri's annual Halloween Potluck and Costume Contest.  Employees put a great amount of effort into their costumes, making this year's competition not only fun, but tough.

Winners this year were April Johnson, who dressed as a crazy cat lady equipped with an edible litter box, Marisa Nooney, who dressed as a hillbilly and George Yuen who was riding an inflatable dinosaur.

Several Centauri employees enjoyed a fun and informative self defense workshop hosted by Clark's Self Defense Studio of Sarasota.  Self defense instructors Derrick and Magda Clark came to the corporate office in Sarasota to teach our team some very valuable self defense techniques.
